Notice the pattern

  • tumUse aap to be respectful and tum with friends and family your age — both from day one.
  • kaisekaise when asking a man, kaisi when asking a woman.
  • aurTurn the question back with Aur tum? / Aur aap? — “And you?”
About the audio · Every line comes with audio, so you hear the real rhythm and intonation.

Familiar words. Hard-to-find replies.

You recognise the expressions. You catch parts of the conversation. But when it’s your turn, finding the words can be harder — or you might be starting from the very beginning. GofShof gives you a place to listen, practise and turn what sounds familiar into something you can say.

  • Joining in on a family call
  • Answering more than yes or no
  • Asking something back

No. Everything is written in Roman letters, with Devanagari shown alongside if you want to pick it up.
I understand some Hindi but struggle to reply. Is this for me?
Yes. You can take a quick placement check to skip what you already know, and the writing practice is all about producing your own replies.
Does it teach aap and tum?
Yes — both from the first unit, with clear guidance on when to use each.
Which languages can I learn?
Sylheti, Urdu and Hindi are available now, and one subscription covers them all. Bengali and Punjabi are planned for future releases.
